Tab Timer is designed to minimize data collection.

Data stored on your device

The extension stores timer state, Continue counts, permanent-tab status, timer position, a randomly generated installation ID, and your license information in Chrome local storage.

Data sent to Tab Timer servers

For purchase and license verification, the extension sends the randomly generated installation ID and license information to the Tab Timer licensing service. Tab Timer does not send your browsing history, webpage contents, passwords, health data, financial account data, or personal communications to its licensing service.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Tab Timer does not receive or store your full payment card details. Stripe may process payment and contact information according to Stripe's own privacy policy.

Retention

License records and installation activations are retained as needed to provide lifetime license access, prevent abuse, handle refunds, and maintain purchase records.

Sharing

Tab Timer does not sell user data. Data is shared only with service providers necessary to process payments and operate licensing infrastructure, or when legally required.
